Games That 5 Can Play
If you often have a group of 5 people who want to play a game, and you don’t want become a “full house” – 3 playing one, 2 playing another – here are some good board games for you to try. Each one allows a maximum of 5 players. Some are even at their best with the full complement of 5.
This list includes my personal all-time favorite, El Grande. It also includes another classic, Puerto Rico. And it happens to include 3 games by German designer Wolfgang Kramer. So take a look at the 5 for 5 below. Hopefully you’ll find something your large group will like.
About the Number of Players
A number followed by a question mark (?) means avoid playing with that many players, if you can. A number followed by an exclamation point (!) means I highly recommend playing with that many players.
