Don’t Get Lost in the a-MAZE-ing Labyrinth
The a-MAZE-ing Labyrinth will have you running around in circles of fun especially with children. This kids’ game can be a challenge even for adults who can apply a level of strategy probably unattainable for the young ones. So you can enjoy The a-MAZE-ing Labyrinth with adults and kids alike.
There are enough tiles to fill the game board with one left over. You use this “extra” tile to slide a row of tiles on the board, pushing one off the opposite end.
To start the game, tiles are randomly placed in the rows and columns created by fixed “tiles”. Each player starts with his pawn on the corner corresponding to his color.
You start with a set of cards that match some of the spooky pictures on the board. Your goal is to create a path to these spots from the current location of your pawn. The catch is that your opponents’ moves constantly thwart your strategy and mess up your intended path, either accidentally or on purpose.
After you have arrived at each of the pictures in your deck, you must head back to your starting corner before everyone else to claim a victory.
The a-MAZE-ing Labyrinth is a fairly simple game, making it accessible to children, but it can also be tough for those who are spacially challenged. If you like racing games like this, you might also enjoy the subject of my next post, Hare & Tortoise.
